I haven’t been the most creatively productive this week. I could make all kinds of excuses, form an hypothesis (or six), or continue my sudden fascination with Twitter.
But that would be boring.
However, there have been people on the “interwebs” who have been producing some lovely things this past week proving that my perusal of Twitter ‘n’ such was not completely for naught:
- Jared Hollier, who blogs at Badly Drawn Bible, wrote a great piece about the “hard lines in the sand” we Christians often draw. It was a good reminder for me to not engage in Friendly Fire, because so often it’s anything but friendly.
- Think Geek is a fun site full of all kinds of geeky goodies, from clothes to office supplies to housewares. The most recent item to catch my eye is a pen and journal set from Doctor Who. I think we all need to have a place to record our impossible dreams.
- MercyMe is a band not afraid to have fun, and their “Cover Tune Grab Bag” videos on YouTube are a testament to this. Their cover of The Beatles’ Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da is still a favourite. And I’m not afraid to say the following is also becoming a favourite (don’t judge me — please!):
