A Coffee and Some Pre-Christmas Finds Friday
As there is a lot of hustle and bustle for many this time of year, I’ll get right down to business with some of my pre-Christmas finds courtesy of the World Wide Web: - Leanne Penny writes with a beautiful, aching honesty of how Christmas is a hard time for her – this year in particular. And she’s not alone. I need to remember this not only as I look at unfamiliar faces in a crowd, but at those near and dear to me as well.
- There are some video mash-ups that are sort of “meh” and others that I simply must share. This video – which convincingly creates a meeting between the Doctor from Doctor Who and Sherlock Holmes from Sherlock – is on my ‘must share’ list.
- Over the Hills and Everywhere by Seabird continues to be one of my favourite Christmas albums. Angels We Have Heard on High is one of the few tracks I could find on You Tube – it's really a pity they aren't all on there in my opinion. But you can sample the album over at Amazon.com (Joy to the World is possibly my favourite track, if you were wondering), and really – why not buy it? It's lovely.
Happy Friday, everyone. :-)
