I was all ready to get up on my high horse (mine comes with a nifty rolling ladder so I don’t strain myself climbing up it) in regards to a mini hoopla on the internet centering on Joel Osteen and his belief Mitt Romney is a Christian. I was going to arm myself with Matthew 7:1-5 (Amplified), a comment about how as Christians we need to build more bridges and less walls, and the following two pictures:
Then I received the news that, barring a miracle, a cousin who survived a horrific car accident a few years ago will lose his battle with cancer. And now the views of a few on Joel Osteen don’t seem so important.
So I’m signing off today with this instead, because it is the better thing to do (and listen to the words -- the video is whimsical but the lyrics have depth):
