A Coffee and Some Notable Finds Friday
Let's jump right in to this week's finds, shall we? It's a short -- but hopefully sweet -- list. 1. I'm starting to truly grasp there are things I can be working on while I wait for direction/green lights in other areas of life. So Sammy Adebiyi's post “Why the Annoying Time Machine Pop-Up is Your Buddy” was a (no pun intended) timely one for me. plus, I'm also a recovering procrastinator, so there's also that.
2. Pretty near everything I have seen from Billy Crystal I have enjoyed. As such, I was excited to discover he has a new book which released on Tuesday: Still Foolin' 'Em: Where I've Been, Where I'm Going, and Where the Hell Are My Keys? (My To Read pile is never going to go away, you guys.)
3. The hubs and I invested in a good treadmill a couple of years ago, and as I don't like running in the dark or in inclement weather it is much appreciated. Thankfully, we did not have any of the issues nor any of the hare-brained ideas of these folks.
4. One of my favourite music videos from the 1980s is also a tidy little history lesson in '80s pop culture. You’re welcome:
Happy Friday! :-)
