You learn a lot about people when you listen to the songs that mean something to them.” ~Unknown

Seabird – one of my favourite bands – released a new album yesterday, and I’m still trying to determine which songs are true “standouts” for me. Right now, I’m still quite giddy over the fact they have a new album out. It has been four years, after all, since the release of Rocks Into Rivers.

If you would like, you can get a taste of their new album Troubled Days over at Amazon (or wherever you like to go to check out new tunes). See what I’m all in a happy dither about. ;-)

I could write more, but seriously – my ears are enjoying the treat and wanting my fingers to be still for a while longer. But I will tell you the track “Stand Out” is one I may be hitting ‘repeat’ on a fair bit in the days ahead, along with “We Can’t Be Friends” for it’s not your typical breakup song (not that I’m breaking up with anyone – I just like the “unstandardness” of the song).

It’s a good time to end a post when I’m making up words. Just saying.
