A Coffee and a Question of Faith Friday

A Coffee and a Question of Faith Friday

This year I’ve had the privilege of getting to know some great people via the My Killer Tribe Blogger Community.  Headed up by Bryan Allain, it’s a place for bloggers – newbies and mad-talented pros alike – to gather to share their work and their knowledge.  One of the first ‘mad-talented’ people I met there was Tor Constantino.  A former journalist, he now blogs at The Daily Retort, has written pieces for Relevant Magazine, and has guest posted for Michael Hyatt, Jon Acuff, and Bryan Allain.  (His first name is also thisclose to that of the mythological Norse god Thor.  Interesting, no?) Tor also recently penned a book.  A Question of Faith: A Simple Question Toward Ultimate Truth was released this week in eBook format on Amazon.  And Tor packs a lot into its 160 pages.  Not only does he provide an easy-to-understand overview of the world’s six major religions – Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism and Sikhism – he also aims to help readers begin their own external and internal dialogues about faith.  And it’s not done merely so they can talk about such matters with others, but so they can find the “best” faith to follow.

It was certainly an eye opening read for me as I learned about faiths I had little prior knowledge about.  And the manner in which Tor goes about helping anyone looking to find the “best” faith to follow is also well thought out and presented.

You find out more about Tor’s book here.  He also provides a link to order the book from Amazon along with previews of the book’s bonus material.
