Graceland

Graceland

"Poor boys and pilgrims with families/and we are going to Graceland." -"Graceland", Paul Simon* ++++++++++Even as the song plays (and I know of which Graceland the singer speaks) ++++++++thoughts turn from white-columned mansions +++++++++++++++(monuments to dead mortal men) and to the roads travelled by the curious                mix of sinners and saints. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++(miraculous)

Where lost ones are loved (and led home) Where hope (whether shouted or whispered) lives Where faith (like a mustard seed sprouting through rock) presses ever on

For every poor boy for every family

Pilgrims all – all looking for a Graceland ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++(the Graceland not made with human hands?)
