It seems like I haven't been enjoying things lately, at least over here. There have been conflicts about conflict, God's image problem in my head, and (at last) a few things I finally went 'on the record' for. So today I'm sharing a few of the things I have been enjoying: 1. Eureka -- This television show is in it's fifth (and, sadly, last) season, but oh -- what a season it has been thus far. There have been alternate realities, daring rescues, sad losses, and science going awry as it only can in this fictional town. Just this week Sheriff Carter and a few of Eureka's citizens experienced some interesting Freaky Friday-inspired events. Take a peek:
2. A Study in Sherlock: Stories Inspired by the Holmes Canon edited by Laurie R. King and Leslie S. Klinger -- This collection of stories inspired by famous fictional sleuth, er, consulting detective Sherlock Holmes was a post NaNoWriMo '11 treat I recently (and finally) started reading. I'm only part way through this collection, and so far each story has been a real treat to read. Snappy dialogue, interesting twists, and (a personal requirement) Watson is not an idiot/twit/simpleton in any of them (and I'll be disappointed if that record is broken).
3. I posted this video on my Facebook page yesterday, having found it the day before that on the I Can Has Cheezburger site, and it still amuses me. I won't say anymore, and instead simply invite you to take a look at it yourself:
I hope you enjoy these few things as well. Feel free to share any fun finds of your own in the comments, and thank you for reading!
