The LORD bless you and keep you

Get up and get dressed in your Sunday best, sing some hymns, pray, listen. Go home. You knew what was expected. You did it. Sometimes heart-felt, soul-stirring; other times automatically (wondering what you were missing).

The LORD make His face shine on you and be gracious to you

Now there is more. You have found what you were missing (Spirit, life – so much life. So much.) Yet more questions come. Are you measuring up? Hitting the mark? Doing it right? Or wrong? How’s your heart? Where’s your heart? It seems the more is learned, the more push and pull there is to be felt, experienced, wrestled with. (Not always, but there’s no denying it is there.) Yet . . . . . . you can’t quit. Because Home is on the horizon – near or far. And your Father waits.

The LORD turn His face toward you and give you peace. - Numbers 6:24-26 (NIV)
